Remembering the past....

The past 2 weeks I have been traveling a lot for "fun"! I've been to DC and New York. Kaz and I spent our first year of marriage in DC, so it's a special place. It was one of the hardest decisions we've ever made moving up there, but we learned a lot and our love for one another grew through the challenges of a busy city, being away from family and friends, and starting a new life somewhere completely different. We haven't been back since we moved 2 years ago, so we were excited about our trip! I have to brag for a little bit:0) Kaz ran in a North Face adventure half marathon while we were there. He came in 30th out of 250 people! If he wasn't tired enough from that, I had to drag him all over the city:) We had a great time. We have been so busy lately we tried to take in every moment and I tried really hard to leave photography back in Charleston, BUT I had to take a few pictures! Being in DC brought back so many memories of when we lived there. For example, when we first went up there looking for apartments they were nowhere to be found. We actually got an apartment guide and that's how we found our first place. Little did we know, every building we saw was apartments..We were so naive. One our favorite things to do on Sunday mornings before church, was go by Starbucks and get hot chocolate. It was our little Sunday morning date! It was nice to be back in DC and it will always have a special place in our hearts...Hope you enjoy the pictures..
